Due to higher shipping costs and higher production costs I had to increase the price.  I do what I can where I can to help all of my customers save but this is how it goes sometimes.  I hope you all understand.  Thanks for your generous support for this cause.<br>100% of the proceeds of the this auction benefit the Camp Bomazeen "Bushcraft - The Frontier Method" program in Belgrade Maine.   Our program is an 1840s fur trade living history program.  Even though our focus is living history of the fur trade era we still have lessons and skills training in living history from 1600-1860.  In our program youth live and learn skills appropriate to the before mentioned period of time.  Youth also learn to dress the part.  We have many skilled staff members who help to run this event.  We have four Tracks in the program.  Our 1st year program aka Bushcraft 1 Bagaduce youth earn Indian Lore, Leatherworking and Archery Merit Badges using tools and skills of the period from flint napping arrow points to really learning Native song, dance, meaning, nature, and oration.  Our 2nd year program Bushcraft 2 Mawooshen earn Basketry, Metal work and Riffle shooting merit badge.  They too learn skills and do their program with the tools of the period from making a back pack basket of about 2x2x3 feet in dimension, learning blacksmithing to proper operation of a muzzle loader.  We have two 3rd year programs.  On Bushcraft 3 - Abligamooch the youth learn woodworking skills and the merit badge.  In one week's time they build a fully functioning boat from pine boards using tools and methods of the period.  Bushcraft 4 - Cushnoc learn fur trading skills from snares and traps to fur preparation to tanning.<br>HOWEVER.  Our program is costly to run.  We are always looking for ways to help put money in the kitty to keep this wonderful program running.  Please consider buying a patch to help our cause.<br>IF you would like more information on our program please feel free to contact me here.<br>
