    Description

Here is a  copy of this wonderful dress
. I have hand traced each piece on new tissue paper. I have put on perforations and notches as they were placed on each original tissue piece. You will also get a copy of the sewing instructions.
In the 1930's the directions were not very detailed. During the Depression women had to sew clothes for themselves and their daughters.  All of the extra fabric scrapes were used to make quilts.
You are not buying the original pattern.   It has 10 pieces. The pieces are placed on a fold so you can adjust the bust or hip area to fit.
The pattern fits a lady with a 36" bust and a 38" hip area.
Pattern envelope describes this dress as one that is closed under the left arm. Waist has V-shaped neck with attached cape collar and a scarf. Set in sleeves are provided. They can be omitted along with the scarf. Two piece circular skirt with yoke top, attached to waist under a removable belt. Width at lower edge of skirt size 36, about 2 3/4 yards.
