Holland America MS Amsterdam 2017 Grand Pacific & Far East Voyage Oval Platter

Description

Souvenir oval platter from a cruise ship.  The maker of the platter noted on the back is Royal Goedewaagen.  This platter commemorates a Holland America cruise ship:  MS Amsterdam for the 2017 Grand Pacific & Far East Voyage.  The voyage is noted on the front of the plate along with a map with the path lined in red on the map.  There is an image of the cruise ship below.  Next to the the map is listed the ports of call or itinerary:  San Diego, Dutch Harbor, Kushiro, Yokohama, Shimizu, Osaka, Hososhima (Miyazaki), Jeju (Cheju), Incheon (Seoul), Tianjin (Beijing), Shanghai, Hong Kong, Nha Trang, Phu My, Singapore, Semarang, Java, Benoa (Denpasar), Bali, Komodo Island, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Waitangi (Bay of Islands), Tauranga, Auckland, Dravuni Island, Fiji, Lautoka, Fiji, Suva, Fiji, apia, Honolulu, Lahaina, San Diego.  The platter measures about 12-7/8" by 7-1/4" and is about 1-1/4" high.  It has a bit of scalloping along the sides.  It is pre-owned, but in very nice condition.  I'll be listing some similar items.  Please check my other auctions.
