Maggie's Classics patterns truly are classics and very popular from the 70s til now. Girl's Activity Smock #351 is a long-sleeved garment that buttons at the top, center back. It is designed to cover play clothes while doing arts and crafts, with generous pockets all along the lower front edge. This cute little artist smock is designed to be hand smocked below a high front yoke, but you could also make it without smocking.
This pattern is for size 7-8, which is one size intended to cover both 7 and 8. It is not two separate sizes. The fit is very loose and I imagine would fit a child in this size range for a couple of years or more. It looks like it would be easy to make, with great directions. This pattern was released in 1982 for a suggested retail of .00.
The pattern envelope is in excellent, clean shape with minor creasing at the corners, and all instructions and pattern pieces are intact, uncut and unused. Some of the pattern pieces have age yellowing (see last photo).
