Here is a Starrett No. 238RL 0" - 1" micrometer that is in *MINT* condition. This micrometer has been used??? Obviously not very much. You have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on it. The thimble moves easily without any hesitations. The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. The thimble and anvil faces are nor carbide but look as if they were mirrors. This is demonstrated by the reflection of the dollar. Everything will work perfectly for you! I guarantee it! The red cardboard protective box has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It has some scratches and scuffs from doing its job. It is still very solid and will continue to protect your micrometer for many years to come. Also included is a small wrench for making minor adjustments and some of the original paperwork.
